Is a piecemeal approach to developing your medical device creating any of these roadblocks?
- Your timelines and budget are starting to slip due to design do-overs. Initially, you felt a more segmented approach to product development would save you time and money - and the opposite is turning out to be true.
- You’ve gone to market with a small run product. You’re not seeing the early adoption or sales you were expecting because of usability issues that weren’t identified early enough in your product development process.
- Your product cost is too high, leaving little room for profit.
- Late stage manufacturing quality issues are jeopardizing your launch date.

Product Innovation Spotlight
In-Bore MRI Infotainment System
MRI scans can be a claustrophobic, anxiety-inducing, and often boring ordeal. To solve this, Inertia worked with Innovere Medical to redefine the MRI experience with an in-bore infotainment solution. The final product, Innovision, allows patients to watch videos with sound while receiving their MRI scan. And to add to their comfort, the machine includes memory foam comfort pillows that reduce noise and deliver clear audio. Plus, to mitigate stress during their scan, a digital display makes the bore feel larger and keeps the patient informed of their remaining time.
